Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Tamansari Education Journal (TEJ) publishes only original manuscripts that comply with the journal's Author Guidelines and Manuscript Template.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific contribution of each publication.

The review process consists of the following stages:

  1. Initial screening by the Editorial Office to assess the manuscript's suitability with the journal's focus, scope, formatting requirements, and publication ethics.
  2. Similarity checking using Turnitin.
  3. Preliminary evaluation by the Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editor.
  4. Double-blind review by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the submitted manuscript.
  5. Final editorial decision based on reviewers' recommendations.

Editorial decisions include:

  • Accept without Revision
  • Accept with Minor Revisions
  • Accept with Major Revisions
  • Reject

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

  • Originality
  • Scientific contribution
  • Novelty
  • Methodological rigor
  • Clarity of presentation
  • Quality and relevance of references
  • Relevance to the journal's focus and scope

The average review period is approximately 4–8 weeks.
